Over the next several months, Power Plate will be touring Southern California retail locations and local special events to allow consumers to experience the benefits of Acceleration Training first hand.

NORTHBROOK, IL, April 1, 2008 – Power Plate North America announced today that its
innovative Acceleration TrainingTM (a.k.a. “vibration training”) products will be used on the PGA
TOUR and Champions Tour health and fitness trailers. Rory Sabbatini, Colin Montgomerie,
Jesper Parnevik, Chip Beck, Mike Weir and Jerry Kelly are just a handful among a growing list
of PGA TOUR and Champions Tour professionals turning to Acceleration Training with Power
Plate products for its unique array of physical fitness and game-improvement benefits. Use by
touring professionals underscores Power Plate’s distinction as a legitimate golf-fitness and
game-improvement product.

In addition, Power Plate products will also be featured at PGA TOUR Superstores, a retail chain

Victory in Japan! for Chip Beck & Power Plate® Machines :

Chip Beck, 4-time winner on the PGA TOUR, celebrated his first victory on the PGA Senior Tour with a victory at the Kinojo Senior Open in Okayama City, located just west of Kobe Japan.

Team Protea Japan, the distributor of Power Plate® products in Japan, undertook the sponsorship of the Lexus Champions Challenge the week before in Miyazaki City, giving them the chance to introduce the competitors to the benefits of Acceleration Training® for golf. Legendary golfers including Chip Beck, Jerry Pate, Tommy Nakajima, and Isao Aoki utilized the Power Plate® machine daily before the 1st tee, skillfully assisted by Protea trainer, Takuro Nagasaka.

Though Chip Beck had not previously utilized Acceleration Training™, the Power Plate® machine was to become his secret weapon. Chip commented, with all the aches, pains and injuries suffered by pro golfers, the Power Plate® machine would be a powerful tool. Recognizing the potential benefits of Acceleration Training™ for his golf game, Chip Beck and Protea President Toshi Katogi, struck a deal. Chip Beck would train on the Power Plate® machine for the following week’s match at The Kinojo Senior Open and would proudly wear a Power Plate® hat.

Fate was smiling on proud CEO, Akiko Tozawa as Chip Beck won the Kinojo Senior Open in a playoff, Akiko observed a double rainbow in the sky! This is certainly a sign of more good things to come. Congratulations to team Protea in Japan.
